CitedAI answer visibility Run my free scan
For field-service & HVAC software vendors

When a contractor asks ChatGPT for the best HVAC software, are you in the answer?

Your buyers already ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google who to use, and the answer comes back as a shortlist of three or four names pulled from a small set of third-party sources you can see and act on. Cited measures whether AI recommends you: we run the questions your buyers actually type across the AI answer engines (any engine we cannot query in a scan is excluded from scoring and disclosed), show you where you show up and where you are invisible, then sell one thing: the ranked list of sources deciding those answers, with the action for each.

Run your free scan

See which engines name you, your share-of-answers headline, and your three biggest gaps. Any engine we cannot query on your scan is excluded from scoring and disclosed in your results. Results by email, or skip the email and collect a named-or-not verdict at a private link. No card, no call.

With your email you get the full teaser delivered: which engines name you, your share-of-answers headline, and your three biggest gaps with the sources feeding them. Without an email you get the named-or-not verdict and the share headline at a private link shown after you submit; leave your email for the full teaser with the gap breakdown.

Free scans run for every trade listed. Paid Fix Plans currently ship for HVAC and adjacent field-service SaaS, where our source map is deepest; other trades get the free scan now and join the Fix Plan waitlist.

Submitting runs queries containing your product name against public AI answer engines. If you provide an email, we use your details to run the scan and email your results, including how the paid Fix Plan addresses any gaps; unsubscribe anytime. If you leave the email blank, no email address is collected or stored and nothing is sent to you: your verdict appears only at the private link shown after you submit, and it expires after 30 days. Either way, your IP address is used for rate-limiting (a daily per-IP scan cap) and is kept in our scan log to enforce that limit; it is never used for marketing or profiling. How it works

Free scan. £179 Fix Plan. Monitoring if you want it.

Plenty of tools will give you a free AI visibility score. So do we, and it is the least valuable thing on this page. A score tells you that you are missing. The Fix Plan tells you which sources decide each answer and exactly what to do about it, in order.

Free

The teaser scan

We run a shortened cut of the buyer-question basket across the AI answer engines and email you: which engines name your product at all, your share-of-answers headline, and your three biggest gaps with the sources feeding those answers. Any engine we cannot query on a scan is excluded from scoring and disclosed in your results. Prefer not to leave an email? Submit without one: you get the named-or-not verdict and share headline at a private link, and the gap breakdown stays with the email path.

The Fix Plan

The full 40-query scan plus a seven-section report: every source that decided your answers, your prioritized placement targets with the specific action for each, a review-velocity plan, two content briefs, and the list of popular fixes NOT to spend on. 14-day unconditional money-back.

Monitoring

Your Fix Plan scan becomes a frozen baseline. We re-run the identical basket on a schedule and send you a movement report: what changed, at which source, cluster by cluster. Movement is measured against the baseline, not claimed. Cancel anytime.

Inside the Fix Plan

Seven sections. Every one of them specific to your scan.

This is not a template with your logo on it. Every table, ranking, and action is generated from your own scan data and the citation map for your trade.

  1. Where you stand Your share-of-answers, a cluster-by-cluster table of where you are named, partially named, or absent, and which vendors currently own the answers you are missing from.
  2. The sources that decide your category Every source the engines cited while assembling your answers: how many times each one fed an answer in your scan, what type of source it is, and whether it cites you today.
  3. Your prioritized placement targets The sources to earn your way into, ranked against your scan results using our per-trade source map, each with the specific action. Plus a Defend list: sources already citing you that you need to keep fresh.
  4. Review-velocity plan Which review platforms feed which engine, the eligibility thresholds that put you on the shortlists, when to time review pushes, and the compliance rules: ask all your real customers, never script a review, never pay for a positive rating.
  5. Two content briefs, the citable kind A proprietary-statistic brief built on your own customer data, because roundup authors and AI answers quote original numbers, not marketing pages. And a category-explainer brief for the buyer question you are closest to winning.
  6. What NOT to spend onThe section agencies hate The popular fixes with evidence they do not move AI answers: schema markup, self-published "you vs competitor" pages, and paid badges or paid listings. If an agency is quoting you for any of these as an AI-visibility fix, this section pays for the whole report.
  7. Verification schedule Your scan becomes a frozen baseline, with a day 30, 60 and 90 re-scan plan on the identical query basket (the plan ships with the report; running the re-scans is what monitoring does, or run them yourself), so any movement is measured against the same yardstick, cluster by cluster.

One thing the Fix Plan does not contain: a promised rank. Nobody controls what an AI engine says, and anyone promising you a specific position is guessing. We show you the sources, the order to work them, and the measurement. The work of earning your way in is yours, or ours if you later want it done for you.

Methodology

How we measure it, exactly.

AI answers vary run to run. A screenshot of one lucky answer proves nothing, in either direction. So we never score a single answer.

queries40 fixed buyer questions, grouped into 8 question clusters, written the way contractors actually type them. The basket is frozen: every scan and every re-scan runs the identical queries. The free teaser scan runs a shortened 8-query version of the basket (one query per cluster), still multi-pass; the full 40-query basket is the paid Fix Plan's ruler.
enginesChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot: the engine set the methodology measures against. Any engine we cannot query on a given scan is excluded from scoring and disclosed as unavailable in your report, never approximated. Your results state exactly which engines were scored on that scan, so engine coverage is shown per scan, not assumed.
fingerprintEvery report prints a methodology fingerprint: a hash of the exact basket, engines and pass count it ran on. Re-scans carry the same fingerprint, so any delta you see is your visibility moving, not our ruler moving.
passesEach query runs multiple times per engine. You count as NAMED on a surface only if a majority of passes name you. One-off flukes, good or bad, are filtered out.
scoringSurfaces roll up into cluster scores, and share-of-answers is your score across all 8 clusters, expressed as a percentage. Same formula for you and every competitor in the scan.
sourcesEvery source an engine cites while answering is logged, counted, and checked for whether it names you. That source log is what the Fix Plan's rankings are built from.
re-scansMonitoring re-runs the identical basket against your frozen baseline. Movement is a measured delta, never an anecdote.

The full query list ships inside your Fix Plan, so you can re-run any of it yourself and check our work.

Pricing

One report. Two ways to keep watch.

The Fix Plan is a one-off. Monitoring is month to month, cancel anytime from the link in any report email (effective end of the paid period); missed re-scans are credited and prices never change on an active subscription without 30 days notice. No contracts, no calls, no setup fees.

Monitor

£49/month

For vendors working the plan themselves.

  • Monthly re-scan of your full frozen basket
  • Movement report: what changed vs baseline, cluster by cluster, and which source moved it
  • Competitor share tracked on the same scan
  • Cancel anytime, month to month
Start Monitor £49/mo

Works best after a Fix Plan: the plan sets the baseline the movement is measured against.

Monitor+

£149/month

For vendors actively pushing placements.

  • Weekly re-scan of your full frozen basket
  • Movement report after every scan
  • Placement-target refresh: your ranked target list re-scored as sources change
  • Cancel anytime, month to month
Start Monitor+ £149/mo

Weekly cadence means a source-level change shows up in your next report, not next quarter's, and re-ranks your next moves.

What you will not find on this page: customer logos, testimonials, or a "trusted by 500 companies" line. Cited is new, and we will not invent proof. What you get instead: the free scan shows you the method working on your own product before you spend a pound, and the £179 report carries a 14-day unconditional money-back. The proof is your own data. And three things we will never sell you, because nobody can sell them honestly: guaranteed inclusion in an AI answer, paid mentions, or "training the AI" on your brand.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Can you guarantee us a rank, or that a specific engine will name us?
No. And be careful with anyone who says yes. AI engines are non-deterministic and outside anyone's control, so nobody can promise a rank, a position, or a named appearance in a specific engine for a specific query. What we do is show you the sources that decide your category's answers, ranked, with the action for each, and then measure your share-of-answers on a fixed basket so you can see whether it moves. The measurement is honest precisely because the promise is limited.
How is this different from the free AI visibility checkers?
The free checkers, ours included, tell you THAT you are missing. That part is commoditized and you should never pay for it. The Fix Plan is a different product: it names the specific sources that fed each answer in your scan, ranks them against your scan results using our per-trade source map, gives you the exact action to earn your way into each one, and tells you which popular fixes to skip. A score is a symptom. The Fix Plan is the diagnosis and the treatment order.
What exactly does the 14-day money-back cover?
The £179 Fix Plan, unconditionally. Buy it, read it, and if you do not think it was worth it, email us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. No questions, no forms, no "have you implemented everything first". Monitoring is month to month with no minimum term, so there is nothing to refund: cancel anytime from the link in any report email, it takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the next month is not billed. If we ever miss a scheduled re-scan, that month is credited, and price changes never apply to an active subscription without 30 days notice.
Why is schema markup not one of the fixes?
Because the evidence says it does not move AI answers. An Ahrefs study that tracked 1,885 pages adding schema markup, against roughly 4,000 control pages, found no meaningful lift in AI citations on any engine tested, which is why schema sits in our "what NOT to spend on" section instead of the plan. Do it as ordinary site hygiene if you like. Just never pay anyone for it as an AI-visibility fix, including us. We only sell levers with evidence behind them, which is a shorter list than most agencies would like.
Do I need to get on a call?
No. There is no call anywhere in this product. The scan runs from the form above, the Fix Plan is bought at checkout and delivered by email, and monitoring reports arrive on schedule. If you read your Fix Plan and decide you want the work done for you rather than doing it yourself, the report tells you how to reach us, but that is your move to make, never a sales sequence.
How fast will my share-of-answers move?
We do not promise a timeline, because the engines refresh their sources on their own cycles that nobody outside those companies controls. What we can tell you is the honest shape of it: source-level changes (a new listing live, reviews landing) come first, and answer-level naming can follow when engines refresh their sources, and sometimes does not. That is exactly why the Fix Plan ships with a day 30, 60 and 90 re-scan schedule instead of a promise: you measure the movement on the same frozen basket rather than taking anyone's word for it, including ours.

Find out what the AI engines say about you. Free.

The scan takes one form and zero meetings. If the engines already name you everywhere, the teaser will say so and you can close this tab. If they do not, you will know exactly where the gaps are, and £179 buys the prioritized plan to work them, with a day-30/60/90 re-scan schedule you can run through monitoring or on your own, and 14 days to decide it was worth it.
